Today’s video covers three exercises that can be used to help reduce pain associated with a low back disc herniation or disc bulge. These injuries typically create nerve pain that radiates down the back of one leg, which is commonly referred to as sciatica.
In terms of disc injuries, it’s important to note that many of us with no pain (asymptomatic) actually have degenerative disc changes and disc herniations that would be visible on an MRI. Furthermore, many disc herniations heal and reabsorb without surgery (see research article below).
