The Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear is another wet fly from Ray Bergman's book Trout (page 430, plate #3). Similar to it's nymph and dry fly cousin, the wet fly focuses on using the guard hairs and the dubbing to make a full and "buggy' looking body. A nice and simple wet fly to tie if you are getting started in these types of flies. Plus, it catches fish! --Enjoy
