The Grayhound is a classic Carrie Stevens pattern that represents the common Smelt that are a major food source for the landlock Atlantic Salmon and Brook trout in Maine. The fly is similar to many other Carrie Stevens patterns and not difficult to tie. It can also be tied in smaller sizes to represent many batfish in your favorite streams. - Enjoy
