CSX 911 leads U703 on the CN Dubuque Subdivision [4K]
On April 22nd, CSX 911, The Sprit of our First Responders, lead a U703 empty ethanol out of Chicago bound for Iowa to be loaded and sent back east. This unit, much unlike the current CSX heritage units, looks awesome! Truly 10/10 in the right amount of novelty while paying tribute to first responders everywhere. I found the train at East Dubuque and followed it out towards Dyersville. Despite rain clouds in the sky for most of the day, the clouds cleared out just enough by the end of the day to get some sun on the train at Peosta. A fun little chase on one of my favorite lines with a unit that is truly out of the park. Enjoy!
