Natalia - Plumbing Apprentice and WelTec Graduate
Natalia studied our New Zealand Certificate in Plumbing, Gasfitting and Drainlaying. Now an Apprentice at Hawkins Plumbing, Natalia is inspiring more women to get into the trades industry.
Natalia was enrolled at University, but found that the lack of support wasn't really for her. So she switched to WelTec, where she found that her tutors went above and beyond to help her through her studies.
As an apprentice, Natalia works under the direct supervision of a qualified tradesman. Every day she gets hands-on experience with plumbing, gasfitting, drainlaying and roofing. One day, Natalia wants to own her own company - she wants to inspire more women to enter the trades industry.
