Zortrax M300 Dual is a large-volume desktop 3D printer that works in the Layer Plastic Deposition Plus (LPD Plus) technology.
It features a workspace that measures 265 x 265 x 300 mm (10.4 x 10.4 x 11.8 in), a double hotend, and the advanced control systems that ensure high quality 3D printing. The printer supports a wide variety of filaments which now includes BASF Ultrafuse PP GF30 – a high-class engineering filament produced by one of the biggest companies in the chemical industry.
PP GF30 consists of polypropylene reinforced with a 30% addition of glass fiber. This particular component makes models 3D printed with this material exceptionally stiff. That's why it works best while printing functional prototypes as well as structural parts and fixtures intended for any demanding use. Additionally, the filament shows resistance to high temperatures, which makes it the perfect choice in the automotive industry for all the parts working in harsh conditions. It is also commonly used when building tailgates, mirror brackets, engine covers, or active grille shutters.
Thanks to UV light resistance, BASF Ultrafuse PP GF30 is suitable for parts exposed to direct sunlight, such as tools or sporting equipment. Finally, the filament offers good resistance against the impact of chemicals, such as non-oxidizing acids and bases, fats, and most organic solvents.
