Zortrax M300 Dual 3D Printer | 3D Printing and Assembling a Computer Enclosure made with Z-ESD
Zortrax M300 Dual is a large plug&play, desktop 3D printer with a build volume measuring 265x265x300 mm. It works in an LPD Plus technology that allows users to simultaneously 3D print with separate support and base filaments. However, this large volume 3D printer also works in a single-extrusion mode, much like the standard M300 Plus.
M300 Dual can be remotely controlled, as it’s equipped with Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB connectivity. Thanks to that, it’s easily scalable to 3D printing farms. But, customization is even easier, thanks to compatibility with third-party filaments and build platforms. A capacitive displacement sensor can automatically calibrate any build plate by performing high-resolution measurements of the position of any conductive or nonconductive target. Thus the dual extrusion 3D printer supports both perforated and glass build-platforms and calibrates them with a simple push of a button.
M300 Dual can print with specialized materials, such as Z-ESD. It’s an engineering 3D printing filament that gives your models electrostatic discharge protection particularly useful in the electronic industry. Models printed with ESD protect your models against most acids, alcohols, and weak alkalies. Z-ESD is perfect for industrial applications such as casings of delicate electronic and mechanical components working in an adverse industrial environment, but it can be used for enclosures of remote controllers and computers as well.
