Where did blockchains go? After hitting the peak of inflated expectations, we are now on our way up the slope of enlightenment heading to the plateau of productivity. Even though we cannot pay with Bitcoin everywhere this outlook means that smart contracts while have an impact through applications where they supply a meaningful benefit. Like storing an immutable record representing the path an asset moves through the value chain for traceability. Or enabling interactions between parties who do not trust each other.
According to Gartner blockchain is already appearing in experimental and small-scope projects and will be fully scalable by 2023. What are you waiting for? In this lecture we will learn more about smart contracts through a down to earth hands-on approach. So, you are ready to for smart contract development once they hit mainstream.
