What does Artificial Intelligence have to do with Human Intelligence? How has the nature of the human brain inspired advanced technologies such as Machine Learning?
In this lecture you will get an introduction to the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science. You will be able to understand and determine the keywords Artificial Intelligence vs. Machine Learning vs. Deep Learning. You will gain an understanding of how the human brain, especially the neurons of the cognitive system, are reflected in modern, state-of-the-art approaches and algorithms of Machine Learning. You will learn how a neural network works and be able to determine the most important different types.
--------------
This is a lecture series where industry and research experts give talks about topics in the modern development area.
Join our Lectures@Home series to learn about various interesting topics in different parts of the modern development area, e.g. Cloud Computing.
The lecture series will be hosted every Thursday via Microsoft Teams. Each slot lasts about 2 hours and consists of the lecture and a discussion round.
This event is for everyone who wants to learn about current state-of-the-art topics in industry and research. Usually no prior knowledge is required!
The sessions are held in German or English, depending on the lecturer’s preference.
