Kubernetes (K8s) is an open-source system for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.

In this tutorial, you will learn the basics of Kubernetes, how it works, and its components. Starting from understanding its concepts and architecture, you will walk through different scenarios, deploying a single Pod, scaling it, persisting data, and much more.

This is a lecture series where industry and research experts give talks about topics in the modern development area.
Join our Lectures@Home series to learn about various interesting topics in different parts of the modern development area, e.g. Cloud Computing.

The lecture series will be hosted every Thursday via Microsoft Teams. Each slot lasts about 2 hours and consists of the lecture and a discussion round.

This event is for everyone who wants to learn about current state-of-the-art topics in industry and research. Usually no prior knowledge is required!

The sessions are held in German or English, depending on the lecturer’s preference.
