Machine Learning Model for Hypertension Management
Dr. Lee Herzog, a physician and director of medical sciences at K Health, an AI-assisted virtual primary care practice in the United States, shares insights from her article appearing in the December issue of MCP: DH, where she and the co-authors developed and validated a machine learning model that predicts the most successful antihypertensive treatment for an individual. Dr. Herzog concludes that the model showed high accuracy in predicting individualized treatment success and the findings suggest that the model can be leveraged to increase rates of blood pressure control in the population.
