About the song “Cotton Candy Patchwork”. A number of years ago I left an emotionally and financially abusive relationship. Revelling in the freedom, I booked myself a solo tour which turned out to be an incredibly bad Idea. Halfway into this tour I found myself sitting on a beach, 8 hours from home in a little town I’d never heard of. I was incredibly home sick, and decided to do a little ukulele practice basking in the sun and the salty air. I looked over at the horizon and saw home.**
