How to Pick the Perfect Domain Name
There are so many things to consider when picking a domain name. But I have made this process simple for you.
1. Choose the right extension. Extensions are like the .com, .net.org, .info etc. You want your domain name to match your industry. For the standard business you want to use .com. If you are noprofit or scholastic you want to use .org.
2. Branding over generic. You want to use a word that is niche for your company or industry or a word that tells what you do. Have some fun and get creative. Even if that means you make up a new word you can brand. Do you want to know some the most popular websites that have made up words?

If you are looking for ways to get creative because your creative juices ran dry use a thesaurus or use a domain generator. Now if you use a domain generator DO NOT use that name. Use the name the generator creates as fuel for a brainstorming session.
3. Make it easy. Make pronunciation, spelling, typing, remembering easy for your visitors.
I like to use the phone for pronunciation. Call someone who is "seasoned" and ask them if they ca clearly understand the word you are thinking about.
Try to type it and see if your potential domain name is easy to type.
Lastly, make the domain name 6-14 characters. If possible make the domain name as short as possible for easy remembering.
