When to ask for an online review?
ASAP! And when you do there are a few things to consider....
The best time to ask for an an online review is within 5 minutes of the product that was bought, the service was rendered or the project was completed.
This works because the customer is still feeling the excitement from the product or service they bought from you. Their emotions are high and they are riding that high to go use their new toy. That is the best time to ask for the review. Example, if you are a realtor, the best time to ask is right after you put the keys to their new home in their hand. That is when it becomes real that the process is over and they are now homeowners.
This is why I also love to ask for reviews in a text. People text more than the talk on the phone these days haha.
The one thing to consider is if they have used the product or service. If you have a product that the person has not used yet or they have to learn how to use first, wait to ask for the review.
If you know they will need support first, help them first. Then ask for the review a few days later.
