Short Division - regrouping and remainders
In this video for parents I share the formal written method of short division with regrouping and remainders. I demonstrate the method and show how you can help your child make sense of a short division by careful questioning, the use of manipulatives and images and plenty of maths chat. I also share a great way for calculating multiples when your child is dividing with a two digit number.
