[] Once you progress, none of the sounds of just the essential moves are used. But they are constantly used with different sorts of fader work on top of them.
[] To elaborate on the difference between stabs and drops in my view - stabs are characterised by their property to be aggressively pitched; drops are characterised by their property to preserve the pitch of the sound - in the case of vocal phrases that means being able to hear the syllable rather than hear a pitched scratch sound.
[] Further way to grind and progress with just what is shown in Part 1 is to stab/release cleanly the syllable of choice more than 3 times - 4, 5 or a full bar - and at fast tempos.
