[] It is recommended to be able to do the record motion without the fader for any technique and/or combo, not just for the one described here.
[] In the end, I gave an example with some commonly used techniques but the idea to include anything you can already do while scratching with the first syllable, then proceed to do the syllable walking techniques, applies to *anything*. The main idea though is to learn to not use a drag or a pause as a crutch, but still be able to move into the syllables right away.
