Join me on a day out fishing in Moreton Bay, Queensland. I started the trip targeting whiting and squid, but when they proved hard to find, I switched tactics and collected live bait to try for mulloway (jewfish) in the evening. Along the way, I landed a snapper, which had to be released due to the closed season, and hooked something big while trolling that broke me off. In the jewfish spot, I hooked several quality fish, but the structure claimed them all.
