Backcountry Hammock Camping Under The Northern Lights 🇨🇦
This sub alpine location is Spectrum Lake nestled inside Monashee Provincial Park in beautiful British Columbia Canada. It's a 6km hike in 12km round-trip to a well established backcountry location. I hit the trail at 4pm to catch the Northern Lights deep in the mountians. To my suprise not only did I catch an unbelievable aurora borialis I also had the backcountry site entirely to myself. I hauled in my hammock for a one in a lifetime hammock camp under the northern lights. This hiking trip is going to be tough to beat. Epic views, a geo magnetic storm, northern lights and the tranquility of camping in a gorgoues location completely alone and not to mention it's grizzly bear country with a large grizzly population thankfully I didn't run into any as much as I'd like to get one on camera.
