Word Cloud Picture Wrap using wordclouds.com
In this tutorial I show you how to make a personalized word cloud art picture for a gift or just fun using the free software, wordclouds.com
For example:
Gifts for students at years end, or gift for a teacher.
Gifts for team members at season end, or for coaches.
Gift for Mothers Day, Fathers day, Grandparents would probably love to get one of these from a grandchild.
Posters about famous persons or historical events for school projects.
I want people to make this project using free web apps that will work on just about any computer or tablet. Although I recommend using a computer as it has greater processing power.
I will use wordclouds.com to make the word cloud. wordclouds.com seems to be totally free and has many features such as custom shapes that are required for this artwork. It works entirely over the internet and as far as I know it doesn't use Flash which is a problem for some browsers. It also works on Apple and Android smart devices. Wordclouds.com is available in English, Dutch, German, Spanish and French.
I will use Pixlr X to make the shape that the word cloud words will wrap around and to edit and place the image into the final result. Pixlr X is a basic image editor and is free, but ad supported.
It also is will work on just about any computer or smart device and does not use Flash. Pixlr X is available in 29 different languages.

Included are inverted shapefiles to work with each of 8 standard sizes and 5 shape types: Oval, Heart, Star, Circle, and Square.
