Surviving Voices: Karla González
Karla González suffered sexual violence at the hands of her father and his friends during her childhood. Sometimes those who claim to love you the most can also hurt you.
Today, Karla has transformed that pain into action. She is the co-founder of Karla's Sembradoras de Amor, an organization dedicated to the holistic development of women, with a special focus on the emotional healing of survivors of sexual violence.
This testimony is part of the #VocesSobrevivientes campaign, a series of seven stories that seek to shed light on child sexual violence and break the silence that perpetuates it.
