Surviving Voices: Lucero Márquez
Lucero Márquez lives with a visual impairment and, from a very young age, was a victim of sexual violence in spaces she and her family considered safe.
The silence, even from those who knew what was happening, followed her for years. The violence was normalized, covered up, and silenced.
Today, Lucero decides to speak out. Her story is part of #VocesSobrevivientes, a campaign that brings together seven testimonies that seek to shed light on child sexual violence and end the silence that perpetuates it.
