JEX#17 Potiphar's Wife
Jazz Experiment 17 - Potiphar's Wife fuses 80's r&b with late 90's jazz into my own special blend that I like to call "Toxic Jazz" - a 'loop-like hypno-vibe'. Takes were unplanned and done in one take per track, light editimg (composition without a safety-net. I learned a little better how to feel the syncopated beats and vibe with them. The melody in the second part I found quite catchy so decided to have the bassline and kit play around with the 2/3 beat rest in each 5th bar.
