Reflect - a Memorial Day jazz salute
I wrote this tune today for the piano and upright bass players out there. Style is like Joe Sample with a funky beat. The electric guitar and piano use a phase effect from MFX. Both the stock grand and upright had to be EQ'd to thin them out a bit. I used an expander on hi's and lows (probably too aggressively on the lows). I probably should have bounced the EG or piano to an audio track to avoid clipping due to saturation of voices resulting from heavy use of the sustain pedal. No sample loops, no quantize.
