TikTok LIVE Replay July 13/25 - Plains Cree Story & Study
Tonight we take a story from the Cree Literacy Network translated into Cree by Solomon Ratt, "How Coyote Was the Moon". (https://creeliteracy.org/2024/04/02/h...)
Rather than just studying vocab, we dig into and pick apart some of the grammar to understand some of the verbs, but also some of the "conjugations" (or "inflections").
Along with breaking down verbs and their various forms (depending who you're talking about), we'll also study some of the different ways verbs can be used, and dig into that pesky "other person", the Obviate a little bit to try and demystify what that means.
