TikTok LIVE Replay June 8/25 - Plains Cree Story & Study (p2)
Tonight we continue a story from the Cree Literacy Network, kika-ayâsawi-miyitonâwâw "You will pass them on to one another: Cree stories of the Horse and Buffalo" (https://creeliteracy.org/2024/07/14/c...)
Rather than just studying vocab, we dig into and pick apart some of the grammar to understand some of the verbs, but also some of the "conjugations" (or "inflections").
Along with breaking down verbs and their various forms (depending who you're talking about), we'll also study some of the different ways verbs can be used, and dig into that pesky "other person", the Obviate a little bit to try and demystify what that means.
