What do Superdelic Hops Taste Like? SMaSH Beer Experiment - Brew Dudes
We add Superdelic hops from New Zealand to the SMASH beer anthology this week.
Superdelic hops are relatively new to the homebrew scene.
We go strong notes of citrus, predominantly as lime and lime zest.
There was certainly a touch of grassiness along with some other general floral character.
We liked the smoothness of the bitterness and found the flavor and the aroma characters to align well. We think you could brew with this hop solo for sure. But i certainly would do an excellent job at bringing some life to some classic new world hops that maybe have lost a little something over the last few years; thinking about Galaxy specifically.
