What makes a good open world? I think this is a question at some point of people who play open world games or even just video games in general at some point will have to ask themselves. Because I came up with this video when I was playing a open world game I got recently. I was sat there enjoying the game and the open world as a whole and I thought to my self what makes a good open world game? Like what are the core elements of a good open world game? I thought to my self about one of the last video I made a video on Atmosphere in gaming and I new that was a key element of what makes a good/great open world game. I then thought fearther about other things. I also thought about the world and what makes a good open world in general and then I thought what needs to be in a open world game to keep the player locked into that world, such as side activity's and other different side things in an open world game or even maybe collectibles in an open world game. What makes open world games so appealing for a wider audience and what makes open world games so effective in there own way.
