Well, well, well, it's time to talk about the Railroad, a faction that, if you have been a fan of this channel for a while, you would know I don’t like one bit. In fact, the first video that got 10k views on this channel was a video discussing how bad the Railroad is as a faction. But sadly, that does not mean they don’t get to feature in this series, as I do need to go over them in this video and talk about them in great detail... sadly. From a writing point of view, I think the Railroad makes little to no sense. From a story point of view, they are flawed in multiple different ways. They are the smallest faction in Fallout 4 and also the weakest faction in the game. The Railroad are, to put it bluntly, extremely dumb. Their plans rely on complete coincidence and should not work under any realistic circumstances, and the plans they make themselves don’t make any sense. Their characters come off as dumb and insufferable. The Railroad's base has been a meme within the Fallout community for quite some time now because of how easy their base is to find. The Railroad, however, has some interesting tactics, which I will discuss in this video. They use very different tactics compared to other factions within the game, and I would call the tactics they use guerrilla warfare style. I will be talking about the Railroad's chain of command and whether I think it works or not, and also be talking about the Railroad's leader and whether I think she is a good leader or not.
In this video, I'm going to be talking about The Railroad from Fallout 4. I'm going to look at The Railroad's base, tactics, plans, leadership, and chain of command. I will be comparing The Railroad to a real-life military power as well. I will give The Railroad a score in each category and then, at the end, add them all up to find out The Railroad's final score. I will talk about what I think works and what I think does not work within the Railroad as a faction. I will also talk about what I think the Railroad does well and what I think they don’t do well.
