What makes a game so fun to play? What makes a game so easy to get immersed in its game world? And what makes different game world all so believable in its own right? Well the answer to that question is Atmosphere. A game at least in the opinion of me should have a great Atmosphere because with out one you can never truly get into/immerse your self in that world. A Atmosphere of a game includes how the game makes you feel how the game looks as well as how the gams music sounds. A good Atmosphere makes a game ten times better. If the music conveys what the game feels like you know that the Atmosphere is great. If the game has lots of little details in it that show off how the world of the game feels real and open. And if the game truly has a great Atmosphere it will be unc comparable to other games with out Atmospheres. A game with no Atmosphere for lake of a better world feels very soul less and almost like there is no really world there to be a part of or even just watch.
In this video i'm going to be answering the question to Why is Atmosphere so important? I will also be looking at games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and talking about how games like that or even Red Dead its self have some of the best Atmosphere ever. I will be talking and looking into How old games had great worlds and Atmosphere and how new games can also have great worlds and great Atmospheres.
