Improvement on my 3D printed glasses with metal hinges
I had been wearing my own designed 3D printed glasses for a few years now but the 3D printed hinges always gave me problems due to vulnerability to breakage over time.
Hence I searched online & found metal glasses hinges & bought it!!
Several failed designs later it’s finally ready to be used again!!
The lens, nose pads & hinges are paid & the rest are 3D printed with additional 8mm steel wire & heat shrink tube
The benefit of making my own glasses frames is to be able to make any kind of designs cheaply in the future if I want & replace the frame anytime I want due to accidental damage or wear & tear!
