Demi was asleep at her apartment when she heard someone banging at her door. She opened her eyes and looked at her clock. 'What the hell' she thought 'Who would be here at three o'clock in the morning?' She got up and opened the door and to her surprise it was Nick. She immediately smelled the alcholo on him "Nick?! What are you doing here?!" She asked him
"H-H-Hey D-D-Demi. What's up?"
"Are you drunk?"
He then covered her mouth "Shhh! D-Don't tell anyone" and collapased on the floor
Demi didn't know what to do. Nick was such a mess and she had never seen him like this before. She picked him up and laid him down on her couch. She grabbed a blanket and put it over him. She sighed she was about to go back to her room.
"Demi" He said quietly talking in his sleep
She turned around and looked at Nick
"I-I-I missed you, s-s-so much., but I-I-I don't know why, I j-j-just can' t tell you that."
"Nick"
"E-E-Everyday would hurt when I couldn't see y-y-your face. T-T-texting you and c-c-calling you, just wasn't e-e-enough. I-I-I'm sorry that I hurt you, b-b-but you weren't there for me...S-S-Selena was." and he feel asleep.
Demi let tears fall down her cheeks. She couldn't believe what he just said to her. "I'm so sorry Nick" She whispered and went back to bed

I woke up with a huge headache. I slowly opened my eyes 'where am I?' I asked myself. I then started to look around more closely, I couldn't believe it. I'm at Demi's apartment. I look at the balck coffee table she had and there was a glass of water and some advil, I'm guessing she left those there for me. Then there was a note attached
"Take the pills when you wake up, it'll make you feel better" -Demi
"What the hell happend last night?!"
"You got drunk"
I turned around and I see Demi standing behind me
"Ohh" I said "How did I end up here?" I asked him
"Well, I actually don't know. I just know that you were banging at my door at three in the morning and you passed out. So I carried you to the couch and here we are"
OH MY GOSH!! I'm such an idiot! I must of looked so stupid in front of her "Was that all that happend?" I asked her
"Yep, that's all" Demi didn't even want to think about the words Nick said to her, let alone repeat them
"I'm so sorry Demi, I don't know what came over me last night"
"It's fine"
There was an akward silence between them. None of them knew what to say next.
"Demi" Nick said "I don't want things to be different between us. I still want you in my life. I miss you Demi, I don't know what I'll do without you. I want my best friend back"
She looked down. She loved Nick, more than a friend. She didn't want a friendship. She wanted him, but she knew that she hurt him too much for them to try to be in a realationship again. She faked smiled "Best Friends"
