"What?!" She said as her eyes started to get watery
"Demi, I'm so sorry that you had to find out this way" Miley said starting to feel gulity
"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked her
"Because I didn't have the heart to tell you. You would always tell me how much you miss Nick and how much you wanted to she him so badly. I just couldn't tell you" She told her
"I understand" Demi couldn't believe this. She was heartbroken and now she didn't even know what to think. Why didn't Nick just tell her? She thought. Why would he let her keep thinking about him. She thought that when she came back it was finally going to be a start for them. She then saw them coming her way.
"Hey Miley" Selena said while smiling
Demi had her back towards them so Nick wouldn't see her
"H-Hi Selena" She said feeling uncomfortable
"So who's your friend?" Selena asked
Demi didn't know what to do, she just wanted to runaway. She turned around to face Selena "Hi, I'm Demi" She said while putting on her best fake smile
Nick was instantly shocked. He didn't expect to see Demi
"Well hi, I'm Selena. Are you new to town?" She asked her
"No, I actually grew up here, but I just left for college. I'm visiting for spring break" Demi then looked down at their interwined hands
Once Nick saw that Demi was looking at their hands, he let go of Selena's hand "H-Hey Demi"
"Hi Nick"
"How do you two know each other?" Selena asked
"Small town. Everybody knows each other" Nick answered
"Well if you excuse me, Selena it was nice meeting you, but I have to go" And Demi walked away from them and started to let her tears fall
Nick knew that he needed to talk to Demi "Selena I'll be right back" And he went after Demi "Demi wait up!" He yelled out, but she coutinued to walk away. He then ran "Demi, please we need to talk"
"There's nothing to talk about" She told him
He grabbed her shoulder and turned her around "Yes there is"
"No there isn't. I get it you moved on. What I don't get is that why you never told me"
"Demi I'm sorry" He said
"Do you how much I missed you?" She asked "How much I wanted to see you? How much I thought about you? But I guess you couldn't realize those things because you were too busy with Selena"
He sighed "I understand that you're mad"
"I'm not mad Nick, I'm disappointed. I thought you knew me better than that. I'm not just some girl Nick, I'm your best friend or was" And she walked away from him.

"I can't believe I wasted ten months of my life waiting for him" Demi said then put a spoon full of nutella in her mouth
"Demi, it's going to get better, but sitting here the dark and eating chocolate isn't going to solve anything." Miley told her
"Well what else should I do?" Demi asked her
Miley smirked "Let's go to a club"
"MIles, I don't feel like going to a club right now" She whined
"Demi, I don't care if you don't want to go. Your going! Now i'll be downstairs hurry up and get ready" And Miley left the room
Ughhh! I'm so not in the mood to go clubbing. Demi then stood up and looked at herself in the mirror. She had her mascara all over her face and her hair was a mess. She sighed. I can't believe I'm in my room crying over Nick, the last person I would think to break my heart. She thought. Miley's right I have to get over him and go have some fun. Sitting in my room isn't going to help me get over him. I'm going to a club!
