In order to modify the boot parameters for bootable media, you have to press E button while prompted, remove "quiet" parameter, type in the parameters you want and then press Enter to continue booting.
Then once the boot is completed, type into prompt "bin/product" (without quotes) and press Enter - the GUI should appear.
