This stage's title certainly holds up to its name, as its certainly thematically a Metal Man stage but at the same time not really since it does novel and creative implementations of the chosen gimmicks.
This is a pretty short stage which I think hurts its the most honestly, where the boss is, feels like it should only be the mid boss and then the second half of the level should be present afterwards.
What's here is good don't get me wrong, the gimmick implementation revolving around conveyors is smart. sliding through passages while having to time and avoid dropping canisters is clever and there is no easy way around this since if you time incorrectly then you will drop to your doom.
The enemy at the beginning which leaves behind a chainsaw is combined in an innovative way with the conveys as well, the main gimmick here are the conveyors and they do get some fun and entertaining set-ups however as I said earlier, the stage suffers simply because its too short and ends right before it had a chance to truly shine.
The boss is a vanilla Metal Man which sadly doesn't bring anything extra to the level besides being a thematically appropriate boss to conclude the stage. Overall this is a good stage with lots of potential for the future had it been longer and did something even crazier and more wild in the second half which never showed itself. What's here is great, but it could have been so much grander had it been longer!
