woodturning a hollow from a crotch piece of birchwood
I made a hollow shape from a cross piece of birchwood.
After mounting the wood with the faceplate on the lathe, I roughly sawed the wood into shape and then turned it.
There were some dry cracks in the wood, but I filled most of them with ca glue.
The hollow shape has a diameter of 20 centimeters and is 13 centimeters high
