More than three years ago, I made a bowl from a piece of spruce and set it aside to dry.
And recently, I mounted it again on the lathe and finished it.
I turned the bowl for the first time while the wood was still very fresh and wet.
After turning, I treated the bowl with a few layers of sealer so that the wood could dry calmly and evenly, and then I put it aside to dry.
I recently mounted the bowl on the lathe and finished it.
Spruce is not the most ideal wood for woodturning, so it requires a lot of sanding and layers of sealer to get an even and smooth finish.
The final finishing I did was with friction polish.
The bowl has a diameter of 28 centimeters and is 12 centimeters high
