Woodturning a black and gold ash bowl
I made a bowl out of a piece of ash wood.
After I turned the bowl, I opened the grain with a brass wire brush and then treated it with ebonising lacquer and then with gilt cream gold.
When the gilt cream had dried, I buffed it until it shined.
The bowl has a diameter of 24 centimeters and is 10 centimeters high
