Equinox 1.5L Ecotec Underboost Code P0299
This 2019 Chevy Equinox 1.5L Ecotec has a diagnostic trouble code P0299. I used a smoke machine to check for leaks. I found that The intercooler had physical damage causing a leak as well a the connecting tube to the intercooler. After replacing the faulty components I test drove the vehicle a could see on the scan tool data that we still had an underboost concern.
