2011 Equinox "I Can See My Reflection"
This 2011 Chevy Equinox with a 2.4 came into the shop with a check engine light on and was running rough. After checking codes, I isolated the misfires to #2 cylinder. I removed the spark plug before checking compression and noticed a pool of oil on top of the piston. This vehicle was in the shop about 2 years ago for a tune up and back then I noticed signs of oil consumption in that cylinder. After performing a compression, it was confirmed that #2 cylinder was compromised and the engine would need to be replaced. The catalyst would also need to be replaced do to the P0420 code and the fact it had a lot of oil going through it. I hope you found this video useful.
