Chevy Equinox Engine Noise But No Codes
I'm working on a 2013 Chevy Equinox with a 2.4L Ecotec engine that is making noise. I check it for codes and none were present. I suspect the noise is coming from the timing chain, so I remove the valve cover to perform an inspection. I confirmed that the timing chain components were worn out and needed to be replaced.
