Classic Cocktails with BAD BIRDY!
Today we are looking at the Brand Crusta, a classic created in the 1850s by Joseph Santini. The flavor notes include orange, almond, cherry and a little extra sweetness from the sugar rim.
Recipe Below:
Brandy Crusta
1.5oz Cognac
.5oz Luxardo Maraschino
.5oz Cointreau
.75oz Fresh Lemon Juice
2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
Add all ingredients to the tin, fill with ice and shake. Double strain into coupe. Garnish rim with sugar, Express lemon oils over glass for aromatics.
