Meet Pieter Van Geest, Head of Van Geest Design based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Their project Domus Trimaran together with Rob Doyle Design has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Pieter feels that a “Good Design is a design that he can decipher. In order to create a Good Design, one must strip himself of what has been done in the past and what preoccupations a designer may have.”
