Meet Fiorenzo Dorigo, founder and CEO at Dorigo Design, based in Conegliano (TV), Italy.
Their project COMPASSO has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Fiorenzo believes that "talking about design having this background is very emotional. Talking about design generally is a great honor being here. As designers, we are working to create culture. When our products are awarded from such an association as The Chicago Athenaeum is a great honor for us but also it is a great honor that we are having the chance to beautify the world with what we are doing. We try to offer culture in our products that must not be just products, they must be beautiful and make people feel that are something that stands the test of time. When we try to do something beautiful, we try to give a new image but also an inner image for this when the works we do in such a frame are rewarded, among others we are honored, we are happy in the end that we have done a great job, a nice job to get them known and also to give companies the opportunity to promote our products."
