Meet Gregg Brodarick, Creative Director of Impatia R&D, based in Busto Arsizio (VA), Italy.
Their project Derby Foosball Table, together with Lucia Guazzi has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
Gregg’s approach to design “is that everything is already made in this world. How can we see things in a different way? Never take something for granted and always keep in mind the details of a design. You need to be able to use technological advancements and machinery. A lot of designs nowadays are superficial and focus on creating a pretty picture. Good Design is a beautiful piece with respect to how something is made, how it’s cut, and how it serves a bigger purpose.”
