The Erratics| North Yorkshire | Ingleborough
A circular walk in North Yorkshire and the Yorkshire Dales national Park starting from Austwick we then take in Norber Erratics, Pennine Bridleway, Trow Gill Gorge, Ingleborough Cave, Clapham and then returning to Austwick.
On this 9 mile walk we headed up to Norber Erratics where boulders have been shifted by glaciers way back in the Ice Age, some of these boulders are now perched up and balancing on Limestone Shards. from here we head on the Pennine Bridleway to Trow Gill an old ravine cut through a gorge made thousands of years ago. Onwards we come across Ingleborough Show cave and the source of the Beck from a trickle to cascading waterfalls as we pass Bessie's Folly and follow its path to Clapham and then back to Austwick and the Game Cock pub for a refreshing pint of beer to finish this glorious walk.
