POST PRODUCTION EDITS:
1) I mentioned that there will be 128 tick servers, then later mentioned Tick-less servers (variable tickrate). There will AT LEAST 128-tick servers. There may be a variable tickrate implementation either immediately or at some point.
2) There looks to be a built in Jump-Throw bind/alias into the engine and available through the key bind menu. FINALLY!
3) A big reason I wanted to release this video was to create awareness that SRCDS may not be released (ever), because there's a trend of companies not supporting private server communities. CS was built on this, so I still think it's very likely that Valve WILL release it; but, I wanted to brace everyone in case they don't, because we'd need to really give pushback to Valve if they didn't. My estimation is that Valve will NOT release SRCDS under the beta... I hope they do, because that would allow projects to fix things as the game prepares for its transition.
4) It's possible they can release SRCDS and nerf the ability to mod/develop for the game... which would suck; but, the benefit would be that it would prevent cheating.
I filmed this pretty much unedited, because I wanted to get this out today. There's a chance Source 2 could drop any moment between now and April 1st. I do think it'll drop on a Tuesday or Thursday.
