This Fanta cake is an amazing combo of soft an flaky chocolate sponge cake, vanillla flavored sweet cheese and whipped cream and Orange glaze. This homemade sweet cheese cake looks amazing and it makes the perfect choice for Christmas and for any party. This Fanta cake is rich and creamy, with a lovely Orange flavor.

Ingredients (for a 25/35 cm - 9.84/13.7 inches baking pan)
For chocolate sponge cake:
- 6 eggs (300 gr/ 10.58 oz without shells weight)
- 150 gr (3/4 cup) granulated sugar
- 110 gr (1 cup minus 2 tablespoons) flour (sifted)
- 40 gr (6 tablespoons) cocoa powder (sifted)
- a pinch of salt
- vanilla essence
Cream:
- 500 gr (17.6 ounces) curd cheese or quark cheese
- 200 gr (7 ounces) sour cream (20% fat)
- 150 gr (5.2 ounces) vanilla powdered sugar
- 200 ml (1 cup minus 2 tablespoons) whipping cream
If you use sweetened whipping cream you can use less powdered sugar
Glaze
- 1 L (4 cups and 3 tablespoons) fresh orange juice
- 75 gr (1/2 cup and 2 tablespoons) cornstarch
- sugar to taste (I've used 4 tablespoons)
If you use sweetened orange juice, don't add sugar
