Ingredients for a 24 cm/ 9.44 in diameter baking tray
– 2-3 apples (300-350 gr/ 10.58 – 12.34 oz)
– 130 gr (1/2 cup 2 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon) granulated sugar
– 40 gr (1/3 stick) butter
For sponge cake
– 4 eggs
– 100 gr (1/2 cup) granulated sugar
– 100 gr (3/4 cup and 1 tablespoon) flour
– a pinch of salt
– vanilla essence
