Learn how to install Filezilla FTP Client with Ubuntu Software Center 10.10 for Ubuntu Linux 10.10. FileZilla is a free open source FTP client which is used to upload website files to a webserver for hosting your website on. Filezilla can also be used for downloading and backing up your website hosted on a FTP web server. Filezilla Supports FTP, FTP over SSL/TLS (FTPS) and SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). Plus, FileZilla is very easy to use as a FTP client for uploading and downloading files and folders to and from your web server for your website.
1. Go to Ubuntu Software Center under the applications Menu.
2. Type FileZilla in Ubuntu Software Center Search box located on the top right.
3. Press the Install button on the FileZilla heading.
4. Type in your administrative password and Press Enter.
5. Wait for FileZilla to finish installing.
6. FileZilla is located in the Applications's Internet menu on the top toolbar.
